The theme of the Exodus is vitally significant for Jews and Christians alike. God’s deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt after long periods of slavery has inspired many African-American spirituals and Christian songs. And, just like Israel of old, those who are saved by the grace of God are delivered from the slavery of sin. Today we will discuss God’s covenant at Mount Sinai and discover again God’s love toward us.
