The Bible states that “All we like sheep have gone astray” (Isaiah 3:6), “we have all sinned…” (Romans 3:23), and that “Sin separates us from God” (Isaiah 59:2). All is not lost, however. There is a means by which we can receive rest from the restlessness of a sinful life. Today we will briefly look into the life of David—the man after God’s own heart—to find out how he discovered the true cost of God’s rest, just as you can too.
