It can be the name of an island in Tasmania; the name of a journal of linguistics; the name of a minor planet; or even a music label. The Biblical book of Genesis gives us the original meaning of Babel: the tower built after the universal flood which symbolised rebellion against God. This tower also marked the origin of multiple languages in our world. Let’s open our bibles together as we explore deeper into this fascinating story.
