C S Lewis, the 20th century atheist who became a Christian, once said, “I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen; not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.” It is like that with the Christian Bible. By it we understand the big questions of life — origins, meaning, and destiny. The Bible tells that story. But today we will look at a particular part of that theme; God as our teacher on the subject of redemption, and our role as His students.
So, have your Bible ready as we begin.
