Hebrews conveys the message that it was necessary for Jesus to die in our place for us to be saved, as “without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.” (Hebrews 9:22). Today’s study will look at Jesus’ role in the shedding of blood, and how that connects with God’s covenant. That will require us touching on the Jewish temple sacrifices, the priesthood of Jesus, and what they all mean for us today. Please stay with us for this interesting study.
