In 2016 Clive Nash, one of our Let God Speak presenters, was privileged to see a parchment dating back to the year 1638 in the Museum of Edinburgh, Scotland. It bore the signatures of about 4,150 men. They signed what became known as The National Covenant. Today we will define the word “covenant,” and overview the various covenants that God made with His people. This will lay the foundation for future topics in this series where we will investigate them in more detail.
